The Competitive Edge

Biochar is produced through pyrolysis — a thermo-chemical process that heats biomass at high temperatures in a controlled, oxygen-deprived environment. It locks away the CO₂ captured by plants during photosynthesis, preventing its release during natural decay.

Their patent-pending pyrolysis reactor is engineered specifically for empty fruit bunch (EFB) biomass — delivering unmatched efficiency, reliability, and carbon-negative performance for the palm oil industry.

While European competitors remain bound to localized, expensive wood supply chains and grid-dependent infrastructure, Gigafex has engineered a truly decentralized model—converting agricultural waste (EFB) directly into premium biochar at the source.
